A great example of that is PTFE (Teflon®) tape used for heat sealing machines. The PTFE creates a non-stick surface, which can withstand the heat and still allow the polyethylene bags to release from it.
That same tape can be used as a roller wrap or to line chutes to create a low-friction surface. If you feel you have an application for this kind of tape give us a call to discuss the requirements.
PRO TIP:
A thicker tape is not necessarily better. A thinner tape, supported with glass fibers, allows the heat from the heat bar to conduct through the tape more easily, giving a more consistent seal for the bags.
